The “Control” step of the R2 Docuo Category Wizard allows you to prevent specific actions by users, or to control that only certain users can perform them.
From the “Control” step, we can create a new control as follows:
In this example we will choose the action“delete documents in the status…” and choose the status“In force“:
Now, using the “dummy” button, we choose to which users we want this restriction to apply:
By choosing the “All users” group, we ensure that no user can delete documents in the “In force” status of this category.
It is possible to perform more specific deletion restrictions based on the metadata of a document, by choosing the action“delete documents that meet the condition…”.
