Configure the “Leave the document as it was the last time it left the target state” action.<\/h2>\n

How does it work<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In a Docuo Workflow you can define automatic actions when advancing through a transition (arrow) between two states (circles). These actions can modify a document’s main file or its file-type fields.<\/p>\n

For example, in the transitions Pte signature intervener<\/em> , Pte sign director<\/em> and Pte sign notary<\/em> of this process, the document is signed by three different people through the advanced electronic signature eSignature:<\/p>\n

If the roll forward occurs by mistake, any user with sufficient permissions could use the “Undo” button to return to the previous state. However, this solution is not valid if you want to convert that backtracking into something provided in the Workflow.<\/p>\n

In this case, you should inform affected users of the return via email. An example would be to inform the notary, the director or the auditor of the return by email so that they repeat the signature operation.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the correct solution would be to create transitions that go back to an earlier state in the process ( Invalid Signature<\/em> arrows).<\/p>\n

To configure these transitions, you must select the option “Leave the document as it was the last time it left the destination state”:<\/p>\n

This functionality allows you to leave the document, at the file level, as it was the last time it left the target state of the transition you are executing.<\/p>\n

The changes are reverted and, unlike what happens when undoing a progress, they are kept in the change and version history of the document.
