{"id":4182,"date":"2021-06-04T11:20:35","date_gmt":"2021-06-04T09:20:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.r2docuo.com\/knowledge-base\/how-to-activate-the-teams-connector-step-by-step\/"},"modified":"2025-04-21T18:09:29","modified_gmt":"2025-04-21T16:09:29","slug":"how-to-activate-the-teams-connector-step-by-step","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/help.r2docuo.com\/en\/knowledge-base\/how-to-activate-the-teams-connector-step-by-step\/","title":{"rendered":"How to activate the Teams connector step by step (updated)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Docuo integration with Microsoft Teams.<\/h2>\n\n<p>Connect R2 Docuo with Microsoft Teams for:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Send information<\/strong> from the repository to a channel in a Teams team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a <strong>new type of automatic email<\/strong> &#8220;Microsoft Teams&#8221;, an option that will appear next to the email, notification or SMS, being able to specify one or more destination Teams channels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set a <strong>Teams channel<\/strong> as the <strong>recipient<\/strong> of a follow-up (comment, reminder or task).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This integration is only <strong>available in the Business and Enterprise versions<\/strong> of Docuo.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">In January 2025, Microsoft changed the way applications such as R2 Docuo connect to Teams. For this reason, <strong>if you were using R2 Docuo for Teams before that date, you will need to repeat the configuration <\/strong>by following the steps in this article. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Verify that you are an R2 Docuo administrator<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>To perform the installation correctly, you must be an <strong>R2 Docuo administrator<\/strong> and use the Business or Enterprise version of the product.  <\/p>\n\n<p>To check this, from your repository, access the <strong>Settings<\/strong> section via the &#8220;three dots&#8221; button. Click on the &#8220;Docuo application&#8221; link, this will open Microsoft Teams on your computer. You must choose one. You must also give the connection a name (typically the channel name).
