Replace Tags is an automatic action for the main file or file-type fields of a Docuo category, which moves a document’s metadata to an Office 365 file that has previously had replacement tags or macros added to it.
The replacement of tags in Docuo is also carried out when creating from a template, when publishing a document with version control, or manually from the “wrench” button in the details window.
However, the “replace labels” auto action allows you to force a replacement at other places in the workflow, such as when changing state or submitting a form.
The automatic action “replace labels” is only available in the Enterprise version of Docuo.
To define the replacement of labels, we must open the configuration of the automatic actions. This configuration is available in the transitions, states or forms of a category, accessible from the category wizard:
In this example, checking Replace tags when document progresses through the transition will replace the document’s metadata values in the main file.
